My autobiografy

Hello class, today I have to talk a little about myself. So... I born in 1997 in Maria Elena, a village in the north of the country in the second region. When I was 5 years, my family moved to Antofagasta (Capital of region) for labor issues. 

In Antofagasta I spent an important part of my life. I studied at the Liceo Industrial A16 "Eulogio Gordo Moneo" and obtained my technical degree in automotive mechanics. 

Before entering the university, I gave my military service in the regiment of the region for a year: The third Armored Brigida "La Concepcion". When I left the service in 2016, I started studying anthropology at the University of Chile, where I am still studying and I hope to be able to graduate this year. 

In fact I live in La Granja with my grandparents, I hope that soon I can move to another place when I start working and become independent. In Antofagasta i lived with my parents and with my sister, Constanza, who is ready to leave the school and to Santiago to study

Post 3: Piece of Technology

I do not know if I really have a favorite piece of technology. However, I read a lot and I like to look for new things to read, search for things online and things like that ... That's why I think the most impactful artifect in my life is the computer. With it you can do everything (or almost everything) and I think that for the current times, as well as in my life, it's something almost essential: for the university, work, etc. I particularly like PCs more than laptops or notebooks, because they have more capacity for data processing and that makes them much more versatile. Maybe the only disadvantage is not being able to transport them, but I think that this can be avoided easily if one is efficient in organizing with what one has to do. My first computer was given to me for a Christmas when I was 17 years old. Before that, I went to the library of my city to occupy the ones for public use.

Favorite subject of the semester

Hello everyone, this time I'm talk about the subject I've enjoyed most this semester. Is a subject that is realized in Philosofy in Campus Juan Gomez Millas. The name of the subject is "Readings on temporality in Husserl and Levinas" .  I like the subject for two reasons. The first is that I'm a passionate about philosofy (it was a one of my career options). And the second is that this particular philosofy, the phenomenology, is very closer to some of the principles of the anthropology. In the subject, we see issues such as the construction of the time/temporality, the difference beetwen "time lived" and "time percevied". All based in two great philosophers: Edmund Husserl and Emmanuel Levinas. Althought it's a difficult subject for someone who doesn't have previus knowlegde of philosofy, the professor is very kind and has an incredible facility to explain. English 4

Well ... here we are, last post of the course. I have mixed feelings about my experience of learning English in college. On the one hand, I cannot say that I have not learned because the course helped me to meet again with the knowledge about English I had from school. However, if it is true that we do not develop many more skills than we already have incorporated. I took English 3 and 4. My opinion about blogs has changed a bit. In English 3 I found that they were useless. I think it was my own laziness. Now in this course, in blogs I dedicated myself to expanding vocabulary and refreshing the memory of grammar, which was something that I had almost forgotten. I still need to meet again with grammar rules and tenses, I feel they are my weak points. Of course, the pronunciation too. I don't think I take English classes outside of the university, but if I did take private language classes, they would be Portuguese or French. I think several of us will give a similar answer: t...
